Swiss born Alok W. Eggenberger has been an architectural and interior designer for the past 30 years. He first arrived in Australia in 1976 and fell in love with the Australian way of life, the sun, the surf and the friendly people.

From 1987 he worked successfully in Sydney, designing and managing commercial and residential projects. Six years later the beauty and nature of Byron Shire called him. He relocated and founded EXPANDesign.

He lives with his wife Natalie, one dog and four horses in Tyagarah, 10 minutes from Byron Bay.
